Overhyped Much?

I'll probably get a lot of hate for saying this, but PUBG and Fortnite are two most overhyped games and neither of them are fun for me. If I wanted to play a free-for-all game, I'll hook up my Nintendo 64, put in Perfect Dark and blast away. Now these two are going to be in a courtbattle because the creators of PUBG is suing Fortnite creators for "copyright infringement".

Problem is there's no case. Battle Royal isn't a copyrighted theme, that's why more and more games are having this mode be featured in their games. Although it's the cheapest way to make more money. But because these two games are SO HUGE in the gaming industry, let's take that and put it in our game? If the first-person shooter was a copyrighted thing, I think ID would have claimed that since Quake. And all these shooter games would not exist today if that happened.

I don't like either game, but PUBG, you have no case. Especially when you are also a rip off of another game as well.

Sorry, not sorry.

My Sonic Mania Experience

You know, it's a shame that Sonic Mania came and went like that. This game was so hyped for a while, and after it got released, I really haven't heard that much about it. I myself haven't gone back to collect all of the Chaos Emeralds, which is a shame, because I love to try to beat any Sonic games 100%.

What happened?

I thought this game brought back some great memories. The nostalgia was all there, such as bringing back classic zones such as the Chemical Plant Zone and Oil Ocean Zone (but fuck that zone). The special stages were a great add-in, and I love that it wasn't always Ro-butt-nik I was fighting against.

The best part was the second boss of Chemical Plant Zone and having Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine as a playable thing in this game... I was screaming with joy when I saw that.

The newer levels I liked, not so much Mirage Saloon Zone. Press Garden Zone was the best one for me out of the newer levels. And they all blended in so well that if you've never played a Sonic game in your life and picked up this gem, you wouldn't even notice.

Sonic Mania felt like a great comeback for Sonic to have, especially after all the failed 3D games that we've had in a while. I will never play them, they are not Sonic games, especially Sonic 06' where implied bestiality is present. That's not the Sonic I grew up with. There's some games that we've played in the past where entering the 3D world worked, and Sonic attempted that with Sonic 3D Blast and it was a horrible, horrible game. Great soundtrack, horrible game. I owned it as a kid, and I could never get past Rusty Ruin Zone based on how horrible the control felt. I truly believe that Sonic is a 2D kind of game only, and that's it.

But I would love to see more with this game. A DLC pack could do by adding more levels. I want to see something more with this game other than it was a hyped game that brought back memories for a lot of us old folks. This isn't how Sonic Mania should end, let's see if there's a chance that we could get more in the future and soon.

How Screwed Are You? Raccoon City vs Silent Hill

Let's play a game, a game I'd like to call "Raccoon City is more fucked up than Silent Hill and here's how"

First off, Raccoon City doesn't toy around with psychological conflicts. It just throws you straight into the pits of hell itself. Zombies, fires, crashed cars, destroyed buildings surrounds you no matter where you go. You might have a weapon, a gun even. However, if you do have a weapon, you have very little ammo. The clothes you are wearing right now is what you're wearing in this scene. So A.) You're fucked no matter what because you can't carry that much and B.) One bite from a zombie, you're just dead. Leon and Claire at least had some stuff on themselves to protect them from zombie attacks. Don't even bother asking me what was going on with Jill in Resident Evil 3. I'll just say that her survival instincts from the Spencer Mannor led her to successfully leave the city.

But you? You're just stranded, in the city, that's about to be nuked off the map because it's just infested with zombies. So what do you do? Let's say, you believed those who said Umbrella was evil, you believed the media about Chief Brian Irons being a corrupted Chief of Police, and because of that news, you refuse to go to the police station. That alone, is probably the safest move to make. Once you got yourself to the police station as Claire or Leon, you just were in constant trouble in almost every room you went into. You never really saw any lickers out in the streets, did you? Okay then. Not to mention, claustrophobic rooms with zombies ready to eat you, doesn't sound so safe. And the fact that William Birkin, who was already infected with the virus is roaming around underground the damn station,  that whole entire area alone would have given your chances of survival going from "I think I can do this" to "absolutely fucking no."

However, there's been one confimed monster that roams around the city, and it's name is Nemesis. You might say, "Well, he's only after S.T.A.R.S. members, he won't go after me." That's fine and dandy, but he's killed people who aren't S.T.A.R.S.. Granted, those people were in the way of Jill, but let's say, you're in Raccoon City probably around the same time she is escaping. You just happen to come across her, and she's got this giant ass mother fucker chasing her. And what do you know? He lays eyes on you. So, now he's after you, because he thinks you're an obstacle in the way of killing Jill. And good luck trying to get this fucker to leave you alone. He won't go away until you are dead or you somehow found enough ammo to fight back. And knowing how spread ammo boxes are in Raccoon City and depending on if you're the type that shoots everything on sight or is smart enough to spare some ammo and just run pass everything, you'll either be successful and lucky, or just dumb out of your luck. My bet is, almost more than half of you would be wasting your ammo on everything that moves, even if a random mouse were to just come out of a hole, you'd shoot it too... and most likely miss.

And what's funny about Raccoon City is that none of the police officers thought "Screw protocal, let's go for the fucking head." I've been told why police officers don't just go immediately for the head of those who fight back. But we're not dealing with crimminals, we're dealing with the undead. Not a single officer in Raccoon City thought to aim to the head. They're shooting at the chests of these undead freaks and wasting precious ammo. So, how reliable are the police in this city? Well, all except one are dead, so uhhh... Pretty un-fucking-reliable I'd say.

But some people will still say "Silent Hill screws you more than Raccoon City." I don't see how that is. I don't. Silent Hill is basically a live-action scene if I were to have a sit-down converation with Scarecrow from Batman. All my horrors and nightmares are alive and coming after me. Oh, you mean hordes of spiders and darkness? Okay, well, I think I could over come my fear of spiders and the dark if I actually tried to stop being a pussy about it and just deal with it. I've killed a handful of spiders on my own without any hand holding, so I think I'd be okay in killing more of them. And, well, if I find a light, I can easily get out of the dark. How exactly are my nightmares supposed to make me feel like I cannot survive when my nightmares aren't that scary and can be overcomed? Now, some other people might have scarier nightmares, but it depends on the person, depends on their mentality, depends on how they choose to overcome things. Is it easy? No, becuase I never said anything of overcoming fears is easy, but I can assume how I can overcome it. And, if you heard that there are people who survived Silent Hill, hey, more good luck on your shoulders.

I just feel that Raccoon City offers more hazards than Silent Hill. Psychological horror vs survival horror. Survival. That alone should be key in knowing how fucked you are because survival means you need to know your shit about everything in the situation you're in. Otherwise, yeah, you're screwed.

Raccoon City gets the vote.

Sonic Mania And Why You NEED To Play It

I've been wanting a great Sonic the Hedgehog game for a very long time. I can't believe it took this many years to make a 2D Sonic game that people have been begging for a very long time to see.

You NEED to get Sonic Mania. The nostolgia that hit me during every single level was amazing. Sure there were new levels that were in this, but they had elements from previous games in those levels. The sounds that I heard, I can recall where I heard them, from what game, from which level... It was amazing.

The difficulty is also there as well. I remember when I was a kid, I could never beat a Sonic game without cheats because I hated losing coins that badly. Sonic 3 and Game Genie combined was what I spent countless of times on. Racking up thousands of coins, breaking meters, it was hysterical.

Sure, there were some levels I would love to have seen, but what's not to say this game could easily get DLC, or a sequel that those levels could make an appearance.

There's a few levels I would love to see return:

Spring Yard Zone from the original, Metropolis Zone from Sonic 2, Ice Cap Zone and Launch Base from Sonic 3.

And... that giant plane that dropped bombs in the second act of Angel Island needs to return and have an even more epic scene!

But besides not seeing a few levels I'd like to have seen, just everything in this game was brilliant. I think I screamed the loudest when I saw Hydrocity as a level, and the boss at the end of act 1... oh. my. GOD! You are literally riding the machine that RoBUTTnik rode at the end of Hydrocity Act 2 in Sonic 3. YOU ARE LITERALLY RIDING THE MACHINE THAT ROBUTTNIK RODE AT THE END OF HYDROCITY ACT 2 IN SONIC 3. I had to pause the game and just sit there in awe, the fact that they decided to take it upon themselves to give you a chance to give Robotnik a taste of his own medicine brought a tear to my eye.

I will say the level I struggled the most on was Oil Ocean. The momentum that Sonic has behind him is a little too much that I kept getting crushed by those lids that flew in the air. That and FUCK THOSE OCTOPI... and sea horses... despite that I like sea horses. Those things just have precise shooting skills that knows when you're going to jump. And the end boss... it took me several times to figure out that you have to take down the guns first before hitting on the actual boss.

The special stages were awesome. I like that the Blue Spheres made an appearance, I have not beaten them all yet. And the UFO chase is a fun one too. I don't have that much to say about them because I unfortunately didn't get all the chaos emeralds in my first run, and I kept running passed all the checkmarks.

But seriously, I could go on and on about this game, but I think I'm going to end it here because I really want people to go out and get this game. It is definitely worth getting. After all this wait for the perfect Sonic game, they finally made one!

PS... the end boss of Chemical Plant Zone.... MEAN BEAN MACHINE!!!!

Do NOT Buy This Book, Please!

Zoe "Five Guys" Quinn decided to write a book detailing everything that she went through during the whole Gamergate issue. I think it's hilarious that this cumbucket is still playing victim to get money. When will it end?

Amazon's description of the book itself is also nothing but one giant lie. It basically says that her ex-boyfriend demanded people go out and rage at her, which is completely false and she knows it.

Throughout the entire Gamergate issue, I couldn't sit here and understand why one of my favorite hobbies was getting trashed by these hasbeens. All of the people who sided with this whore were and still trying to destroy the gaming industry. It's why I have no respect whatsoever for Shitaku, Anita Sarkeesian, yeuck, just naming them irritates me.

And yes, I'm fairly aware that she was not the real reason behind Gamergate. Corrupted journalism in the gaming industry played mostly throughout it. But Zoe got involved right after her boyfriend at the time, dished out juicy secrets about how she was whoring herself around the gaming industry just for positive reviews of her "game". I loosely call Depression Quest a game because it's nothing more but a point and click text based borefest that's free on Steam.

She and two other Jezebels continued to make it look like the gaming industry was nothing more but horribly mean virgins that refuses to allow women to enjoy games or even become a part of the industry. Not a single gamer that I've encountered has a problem of what gender I am behind my username. They literally care if I have good internet connection and if I know how to play the game and I'm good at it. That's it.

I honestly don't want to sit here and type everything that you can literally Google because it's nothing more than something that shouldn't have even existed. But please for heaven's sake, DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK.

She's just looking for attention once again because it hasn't focused on her since she and Anita made their way to congress, demanding that people stop being mean to them online.

Fuck this bitch.

Really?

I'm literally lost for words after reading a post early today regarding about D.Va's new skin that's coming out next Tuesday for Overwatch.

This skin looks badass. And people are already crying about it because of the issues this country is currently dealing with the police.

People are going to refuse to play D.Va because of this. They're refusing to heal D.Va players if they have this skin...

Which by the way, if I encounter you, I will report you and get the rest of my team to do the same thing as well as our opponents. I don't really play as D.Va that often, but the times that I do, I'd like to have my team back me up.

First of all, this is a cosmetic. Something that there's plenty of that have various different looks. Some might want to have it equipped, others might not want to. It's optional, it's not permanent. I'm sure the next cool skin she gets, the police skin will get replaced by majority of the players who finds her next new skin cooler.

Secondly, it's a game. A game that has no sort of subliminal message behind any of the skins. Sure some people might think otherwise, like I think it's paying homage to Zootopia, but in no way do I see Blizzard hiding any kind of message behind this skin other than "Let's give D.Va a police skin because we can make her mech look really cool." Like do you think they're hiding some subliminal message behind the Mariachi skin of Reaper's? Or the ballet skins for Widowmaker?

Or the Christmas skin for Mei?

Come on.

I seriously hope these "players" that are that butthurt over this, uninstalls the game and returns Overwatch to a Gamestop, get their $9.00 back and hopefully someone with their adult pants pulled up could buy it off of them. People who find this skin a problem and needs to cry about it, demanding Blizzard apologize for "offending" them or whatever, you don't deserve to play any kind of video games. People like you take the fun away from everything, and you ruin my interest in playing, and majority of the others with your constant bitching. I cannot comprehend how an optional thing is this bothersome to people, especially over the fact that she's Korean, she's part of a military, and... she's fictional.

There are far worst things in this world going on right now that could use this kind of attention to. You know like, how women are suffering in Africa with castrations and rape. The fact that in Chicago, over 1,000 people have been shot before half of a year passed. Endangered animals still being poached by assholes. The whole issue that's going on in the Middle East. None of that is important to these crying losers, just a cosmetic that's optional to have on.

I don't know, maybe in order to understand the "brain" of an SJW, one must become them. And I have absolutely no interest in becoming one. I'd rather eat paint chips than be a SWJ who whines over fictional stuff.

Dear Anita Sarkeesian

Please stop trying to make videos games seem like an evil hobby to enjoy.

Please stop acting like you know everything when it comes to video games... because you don't.

You sit here and claim that you have the "facts", but you really don't.

Double and triple checking your work seems cute, but unfortunately it doesn't help when you're still wrong.

Once again, you're targeting a game you have either not played, or have yet to get around to finish. Had you played Breath of the Wild, you would have realized that Zelda is not a damsel in the game.

How many times do people have to point out your stupidity? Are you just doing this on purpose just to gain something from it?

Whatever it is, it's ridiculous and it's getting tiresome.

You are NOT a gamer. So stop acting like you are one, because you're not.

There is no sexism in these video games. All the kinds you're pointing out has been proven wrong.

Please go back staring at virtual Batman's ass while we actual gamers enjoy doing what we love best.

Playing and knowing video games.

Yours truly, an actual gamer.

The Croft's Butler

I know that literally every single person who has played the original Tomb Raider series knows who this man is.

I know that literally every single person who has played the original Tomb Raider series has always considered him "annoying".

I know that literally every single person who has played the original Tomb Raider series has always locked him in the fridge.

For the longest time, before I stumbled across game forums and such on the internet, I thought I was the only one who knew to do this when the butler just started to get on my nerves. Seriously, this guy just walks around, following you wherever you go. Sure you out run him greatly, sure he doesn't follow you when you start climbing up random places and such... But he just follows you, and makes unsettling sounds as if he's about to take his last breath.

You don't interact with him. You can walk up to him, but he does absolutely nothing. It isn't until the third game where he becomes an actual target in the obstacle course. I'm assuming Edios realized how much we fans just couldn't stop putting him in the fridge after years of annoying us with the constant following. They decided to let us barrage him with bullets.

But of course, this was during the FUN years of Tomb Raider. Now we're just... discovering HOW we became the Lara Croft we know. Well... I wouldn't really say that she's turning into the Lara Croft we knew back in the 90s because this is a totally different Lara Croft.

You get the picture.

Discipline Priest Rules

Nuff said. I love this class, I wish the rest of the Warcraft community did though. Tired of not being able to play as it during heroic runs and such.

Listen, I fight with you while healing you at the same time. It's freaking cool. Appreciate it.

That is all.

Pokemon Go

I should have shared this story back in July, but I felt that Overwatch was more important at the time. Haha.

Well, as you can see, this is clearly a picture taken in a hospital bed. I suffer from a neurological disorder called Vasovagal Syncope. It's a very frustrating condition that causes me to pass out/ faint / collapse due to multiple triggers. Some of these triggers are dehydration, prolong standing, blood pressure dropping, claustrophobic environment. I've been fighting this misdiagnosed condition for almost ten years now and I've been doing my best to keep it under control. When this first started, I was having episodes at least twice a day. Now I managed to have it under control where it happens like every six months or so. But this one time... It was a little different.

So back in July, my cousin was having a graduation party on a mildly Summer day. I was under a tent the entire time, keeping myself hydrated and was thinking about hopping into the pool soon. I also had like a full meal for dinner since they had a taco bar. But out of nowhere, as I stood up, I just collapsed to the ground.
Now, sometimes when I have these episodes, my body shakes. Some might think that I suffer from Epilepsy, but I can assure you, I don't. When my body shakes, it's got something to do with my blood pressure. But this time, my entire body was shaking so rapidly, my eyes were fixed on something, I was not talking, and this lasted for a good two minutes.
My two cousins, who are nurses, truly believed I was suffering from a seizure that one of them was about to perform CPR on me because I was not waking up from it. I don't even recall the entire scene, all I can remember is my boyfriend holding me, my mother's hand by my head, and my uncle asking me if I wanted a straw in my water bottle.

Then off to the hospital I went.

This game... kept me from going insane. When I have to go to the hospital after these episodes, I cannot tell you how long it takes to get blood results or any results from whatever they wanted to check on me. Usually I don't have my phone all the time when I do go to the hospital. But this game just kept me from losing my shit.

I'm okay now, just extremely frustrated because that syncopal episode was the first one for this year, and the first in the last nine months of being Syncope free. I have yet to last a year without having an episode.

I'm going to defend people playing this game because I don't think they understand that it definitely can change people's lives. I also have some nasty anxiety to fight, ever since I had a disastrous relationship with a guy who will always be known as a dickface. It's kind of hard to talk to new people, be in a crowd of people, and just be myself without having to think, "Okay, is this person going to judge me harshly on my first word to them?" This game makes me completely forget that I'm shy towards new people, and just go out there and have fun. There have been countless of stories that talks about how this game has changed someone's life and such. Whenever I see someone just bash the crap out of this game, it makes me wonder if this person is happy behind their computers. Is their life really enjoyable or are they just miserable and can't stand to see people enjoying something?

Seriously, this game is fun. This game helps bring people out of their shells. It has done for me, it has also kept my sanity from going insane at a hospital. If you truly hate this game, no one wants to hear your opinions. The good always topples those who are unhappy in life. So enjoy your life, and throw some Pokeballs every once and a while.

I will fulfill my destiny in owning a gym with a strong ass Marowak or Persian! One day!

Overbanned!

So Blizzard has gone through Overwatch's players not too long ago and decided to do a huge banhammer on everyone that has gotten caught cheating. The responses to this action is really freaking hysterical. Let's go through some of the ones I found to be funny and sad at the same time.

The original site where all the complaints that I found to be extremely funny/sad/pathetic/etc. can be found.

Overwatch forum that clearly states that anyone caught cheating will be gone instantly.

Let's enjoy some of the funny ones:

1.) Two Comments In One

"Sigh another banwave within 24 hours. I suppoed it wouldn't hurt to form a union against Blizzard and sue them somehow? How can they detect these cheats unless they are using some trojan which is legal?"

"It's simple, we can dm Anonymous on Twitter and ask them to hack Blizzard serves and see how they are spying on us what Blizzard is doing is illegal how do they even known we are using triggerbot which isn't even a hack?"

- Response to the first comment -

Blizzard is not the first gaming company and it is certainly not the last gaming company to do something about cheaters. And you can't sue the company when they have made it quite clear before the game even came out that cheaters who are caught will be banned permanently.

- Response to the second comment -

You really think that group is going to help a bunch of cheating Overwatch players? What Blizzard is doing to you cheaters is LEGAL, as they have every right to ban anyone who is playing unfairly and are using third-party programs to help out. Triggerbot IS cheating, kay? Just because it might not be a "hack" towards you, it's still a program that is used to cheat, which you have just admitted to using so...

2.) Why Now?

"I'm actually so pissed right now. Why did they decided to start banning now?"

-Response-

Um, this actually isn't the first time they've done a ban wave. And why now? Maybe because there's been a lot of people reporting hacks and cheaters and Blizzard decided that now is a good time to put an end to it.

3.) War!

"We are at war... War with Blizzard. Ever day they persecute us for our beliefs. We have done nothing wrong, we are merely using our code to make certain colors on the screen get altered. There's no harm in that. What's important is the banned users are ot victims but (blanked out) is. If you want to SUPPORT our cause, you have to buy some CoreCoins. If we get enough users buying CoreCoins, this site with grow and we will be able to hire agents with this that can help us protect us. Maybe is a court battle eventually. My people don't have to take any persecution any longer, we must stop this great evil called Blizzard. For a better future! Invest in CoreCoins!"

- Response -

I don't even know what to really say to this.

4. ) I Deserve A Second Chance

"Can we make a petition or something? I deserve another chance if I spent extra to buy the pre-order edition. This is unacceptable. It's 2016 Blizzard, cheating happens. A slap on the wrist is always better than lynching the person."

-Response-

This comment actually got me a bit agitated for multiple reasons.

A.) Petitions do jack shit now and days when it comes to video games.

B.) You don't deserve a second chance just because you paid a bit extra for a game. You got caught cheating, so why should you be allowed to slip through the cracks all because you spent more?

C.) Yes, cheating happens in video games, but Blizzard isn't the first gaming company to do something about it, nor are they the last either. You deserve to be lynched because you made the game quite unfair for other players who are playing fairly. Cheating ruins the game, 'nuff said.

I think it's insulting to read that you think you should get a "slap on the wrist" instead of being lynched because you decided to play Overwatch unfairly. The Olympics don't slap cheating participants on the wrist, they blatantly ban them from the entire competition. Just because you spent a little bit more money than other people have doesn't give you special "get out of being banned" cards. You're treated as how any other cheater gets treated.

5.) My Brother Is Going To Kill Me

"Wow, wow, WOW BLIZZARD REALLY AGAIN BANWAVE WTF IS UR PROBLEM BLIZZARD JUST LEAVE US ALONE WE ARENT EVEN DESTROYING THE SEERVER ***** NOW MY BROTHER IS GONNAKILL ME"

-Response-

Their problem is that Blizzard has specifically stated that they are not going to tolerate any kind of cheating and if you get caught, you're done. I'm sure you were using your brother's account, and even though I feel sorry that your brother no longer can play this game anymore, maybe he should kick your ass for deliberately losing the ability to play Overwatch.

6.) I Paid Money!

"I just got banned too, wtf Blizzard you're really gonna punish people who paid you MONEY for this game???"

-Response -

Just because you gave them money doesn't mean they can not ban your account if you're caught cheating. It doesn't work like that, kid.

7.) I Only Used It Twice!

"</3 Blizzard Why you you let me cheat in piece I only tried the triggerbot in 2 games I don't deserve ban for that. The ahk aimbot is still working and superior but sad that I can't use it anymore :-("

-Response-

*Peace

And no, they most certainly will not allow to to cheat in "piece".

8.) It Was Just A Bot

"what is blizzards ****ing problem?? it must be ilegal to do something like this just banning us for urnning an external program that doesn't even hack the game. it was just a mouse bot zzzzzzzzzz ARE THEY GONNA BAN ME FOR USING PAINT NOW TOO"

-Response-

"IF A PLAYER IS FOUND TO BE CHEATING - OR USING HACKS, BOTS, OR THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE THAT PROVIDES ANY SORT OF UNFAIR ADVANTAGE - THAT PLAYER WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM THE GAME. FULL STOP." - Lylirra, community manager

9.) Can I Sue?

"Can I sue Blizzard for this unfair ban?"

-Response -

Except it's not unfair.

10.) My Skype Group Is Banned

"Everyone in my triggerbot coding skype group is banned. What the **** Blizzard."

- Response -

Oooh...

Final Thoughts:

Cheaters look, it said specifically long before Overwatch came out that if anyone is caught cheating will be gone for good. Even if you buy a brand new Overwatch game, they still can find you and ban you again. Some of the comments had people saying that they're hacking still and have yet to get caught, give it time. You will be once they find you. I think it's hilarious to see reactions like this mainly because you have a bunch of sites that were psyched to see Blizzard going to do something about cheating, if you didn't see this well that's your own fault.

Plus, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that cheating in online video games is bad. People get very angry about playing with people who cheat. I play with a friend who looks for these kinds of things and instantly report them if they find something incredibly odd about a death or an ability or whatever. Sure the guy sometimes overreacts a bit to these things, but this is what cheaters basically do to those who want to play the game fairly. Any kind of player who seems like they're extremely freaking good, are looked at as those who are cheating. Hell, I've gotten people claiming that I'm hacking when I'm Widowmaker. This sucks that cheaters make this game sometimes unbearable to tolerate at times.

Maybe you should stop, and just get good?

Sonic Mania - Sega's Last Chance

This is Sonic Mania, Sega's 25th Anniversary game for Sonic. Honestly, this trailer makes this game look wonderful. I cannot wait to see more! However... yes, however... This is Sega's last chance to win me over with this series.

I was born in the year 1990, so I grew up with this series. I watched my brother play it, I started playing it, my daddy and I started going back and forth to see who can get the most points in Sonic Spinball. I freaking loved Sonic back during the 90s.

Then once he entered the 3D era, things just started sucking. This series just isn't a 3D platformer, it doesn't work, especially since we're working with a character that moves as fast as light.

Generations kinda made things okay, but it still wasn't Sonic. I don't want to play as two different Sonics where one can do more 3D type stuff versus one who can only stay 2D, that's... That's not Sonic!

This series is definitely 2D only, because there's so much stuff it can do, but Sega fails to do it! Sonic 3 and Knuckles is, in my opinion, the best Sonic game out there. That first boss fight where we're running through a field and a giant ass ship is dropping bombs. Like I honestly have no clue what that thing was, but seriously, this build up to the first boss was... ERMERGHERD!!! Then we're running through the forest where we see RoBUTTnik himself.

There was just so much this game offered to impress, and then what did we get afterwards? Sonic 3D, a really, really horrible game. It's just... I don't even want to explain it. Because this is the game that started to make Sonic go downhill. Game after game, failure after failure, it was depressing to see that my favorite series started to just be one of the most laughable series out there. Nothing, and I mean nothing, could make the series awesome.

But this game... maybe this game can bring back Sonic to the respectable level it once had back in the 90s. There is absolutely nothing wrong in going back to the past, going back to it's old roots. I truly believe this is the way Sonic needs to be. Keep making Sonic games be more like this. I cannot begin to explain how many people are going gaga over this game, even though this is just the first trailer we've seen.

I want to believe... that Sonic can finally be good once again!

Over-Sensitive

Overwatch is once again being targeted by some overly-offended person that demands Blizzard to take stuff out of their game. But it's not Tracer that's being the target this time, no, it's Symmetra, the lovable turret placing, portal making supporter shielder.

A religious statesman and the president of the Universal Society of Hinduism, Rajan Zed, is demanding that Blizzard takes Symmetra's Devi skin out because he believe it's "trivializes" the Hindu goddess.

Zed states that "the player controlled movements of Devi, while in reality the devotes put the destinies of themselves in the hands of their goddesses. Moreover, Devi and its movements depicted in Overwatch did not match with the characterization of the goddesses in the scriptures."

He also sates that, "Blizzard Entertainment needed to follow it's own "core values" which included "lead responsibly", as in this case it was creating confusion in the minds of community about Devi by misrepresentation."

Okay, first off, "Devi", and her re-colored skin "Goddess" are just skins. To show off to the other players, "Hey look what I got!" That's it, that's all that this is for. It's to show off. None of these costumes actually mean anything, they're just for fun. But once again, the oversensitive needs to bark at the artists and demand that they scrap their hard work because they think everyone should be offended by this.

When I play video games, games take over my thoughts. I don't compare what I'm playing to real life things. When I first saw this skin during the first stress test I got in, I thought this was a really cool looking skin since her other two legendaries falls flat. When I look at this skin, does it make me think it trivializes Devi? Of course not.

I don't understand why these things are so much of a bothersome towards people. Nowhere on earth is Blizzard saying that Symmetra's skins are a mockery towards the Hindu religion, nowhere. Players aren't even mocking it either. Heck, Pharah has two legendary skins that are based on Native Indian culture, Raindancer and Thunderbird, and no one has said anything about those skins. What about Reaper's Mariachi skins? Should Mariachi players be offended by those two skins?

It pretty much boils down to where if you don't like something, ignore it. I can never really understand why people are bothered by the contents of video games if they don't even play it themselves. And from what this Rajan guy sounds like, it certainly doesn't sound like he's an avid video gamer. There are things to protest about and then there's this... Something that's really not worth fighting over.

What's even more interesting, is that no one is making a scene about the fact that she is possibly autistic, as shown in the comic that featured her a couple months ago. There's signs that shows her having trouble socializing, she dislikes crowds, has an obession with structured enviornements and has an inability to empathize. Traits that are typically associated with autism.

That and the comic even states where she fits in the specturm.

Top 5 Scariest Moments... For Me

Admit it, once and a while we play something that gives us the creeps. Throughout my life, I've encountered a few things that scared the crap out of me while gaming. Some of these are pretty strange, but I'm going to share them because I feel like to.

#5
Dr. Salvador - Resident Evil 4

Believe it or not, this guy used to terrify me, not in the main story mode, but in Mercenaries. You would hear his chainsaw as he spawned, but for some unknown reason, I could never find this guy before he finds me and beheads me. Seriously, I would scream like a little baby because I'm getting further and further into the level and my run would end because this douche decides to ruin my fun by scaring the crap out of me.

When I encounter him during story mode, I still have the same feeling like I do in Mercenaries, however, it's very easy to avoid him because he's encountered in places where I can easily cheat my way to victory. Not to mention, he's always spawned in the same spot so it's not like you have to hunt this creature down. Mercenaries, you're just out in the open and he can literally appear wherever, and THAT freaks me out more. Not too scary but scary enough to make it to my list.

#4
Playstation 2's Red Screen

Fuck this screen! I used to be creeped out by this red screen of death because of the eerie sound that would play whenever I placed a CD that had a measly little finger print on the back of the disc. I'm actually surprised to see how many people were just like me by being freaked out whenever this popped up. Seriously, look how creepy it is. You have a very pretty blue screen with red, blue and green lights flying around and giant glass cubes spinning, you think that it'll just go to the "Playstation 2" screen, right? WRONG! Instead, the blue colored background changes to a red colored mist with several glass cubes floating with an eerie sound that's supposed to act like a warning noise. They couldn't have made the warning sound a little... friendlier?

What in the world was Sony thinking by putting this as their message informing the player that there is "no" disc in the system? Yeah, I'm just going to turn off the system now because my Playstation scared me with an error message. Kay thanks for ruining my fun you noodges!

#3
Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven - Tesshu's Game Over Screen
Skip to 1:30

Because of this particular game over screen, I can't stand looking at them now. I used to be okay with them until this game. Why? Just play it, they freaking zoom in on Tesshu's decapitated head. It's not the whole decapitation thing that made me scream so loud that I had to get up from the floor and run straight to my room with my fingers in my ears (yeah, I did that). The face that he's making just weirded me out. Not to mention, his is the only game over screen that's like this. Rikimaru and Ayame's game over screens showcases the moon with flowing petals in the wind and a snow covered forest. Tesshu's is zooming ever so closely to a decapitated head that's making a freaky face then panning out and showing us that his head's on display in front of an eerie looking fence.

Why was his so different from the other two? I have no freaking clue, and not to mention, Tenchu never had game over screens like his in the previous games either. So like I asked before, why was his different?

#2
Doom - The Ouch Face

You're probably looking at this and laughing because of how ridiculous this is. Yeah, well, I was four when I got creeped out by this face, so it's understandable. I used to have nightmares about this guy's face, second one from the right. That one popped up one day when I was playing Doom. I've never seen this face before, and of course I wouldn't because it's a "bug". I thought this face was bad, and at the time this occurred, I had no clue what caused it. I tried ever so hard avoiding getting this face again that I refused to play the game without inputting god mode on.

Years later, I came to peace with this face and realized how you would cause it to pop up and I stopped having nightmares as well.  Again, I was very little when I played this game. The demonic creatures that you fought never terrorized me, the gore and violence never terrorized me, the setting of Hell never terrorized me, hell not even the main boss never terrorized me. It was fucking Doomguy and his Ouch Face that freaked the crap out of me that causes me to be afraid of monitors and TV screens that are on the off position.

No joke, still terrified of that every now and then, usually when I'm home by myself and it's dark.

#1
Sonic the Hedgehog - Drowning Music

This music would play, I would instantly reset the Sega because I refused to let Sonic drown. I never sprung towards something so fast in my life. One day, I decided that I would overcome the fear of this music and try to get Sonic out of trouble. Of course I'm in the Chemical Plant zone and at the part with the moving square platforms in the pink water. Did I accomplish freeing Sonic from the water?

NO!

Instead I made him drown, I drowned the poor little creature because I wasn't too fast enough. And of course, unlike most water levels, this one doesn't have bubbles for you to catch your breath. How would you when you're in chemicals anyways? But still, this music is terrifying! Everything about Sonic is so sweet, minus the whole spikes being left around in areas. The main character is adorable, the setting is amazing and beautiful and the music is fun to listen to. But when you're in the water and in there for a while, everything starts changing drastically. Water is Sonic's biggest enemy because it's the only thing that's literally slowing down his pace. You can't move as quickly and fluently because FUCK cartoon logic. Yeah, there are instances where you can save yourself with a bubble, but the bubbles are so scattered and they don't come as quickly as you'd like them to. So what's it going to be? Are you going to wait for a bubble to float up or are you going to try to find a way to get his head out of the water? Not to mention, every Sonic games HAS a water level because that's how these kinds of games always are.

The original games has it where this music is the devil himself. I heard this music played in the later games and they've softened it up. I guess they finally heard the cries of all the children that allowed Sonic to drown.

Pokemon's 20th Anniversary Pt. 2

All right! Time for another update!

1.) I killed a Charmander. I didn't want to fight him but I had to because you can't run from trainer fights. I had my Warturtle (My Squirtle evolved!) and I one-shot him. I killed him. :-(

2.) I also fought and one-shot a Growlithe. I didn't want to either but I had no choice. I wanted to capture him, but Pokemon Blue doesn't allow you to capture one so I have to rely on my boyfriend to get me him through trading.

3.) I want my Meowth and Cubone!!!

4.) SCREW THIS CAVE!!!! Nothing but Zubats everywhere! You literally take two steps away from your last fight and BOOM, Zubat. Two steps away and BOOM, Zubat! Zubat Zubat Zubat!!! Oh and maybe an occasional Geodude and a Clefairy.

5.) They should really tell you what you need to do better in this. I had no idea that I could have gotten a map early in the game. Would save me a lot of trouble to figuring out where I need to go.

6.) You can only learn four moves seems like a ripoff.

7.) Seriously, screw Zubats. I know I can easily get a repel, but I totally forgot how annoying it is in the cave to get one. That's my part to blame, but wow. Just... no, go away.

8.) Some of these evolutions are UGLY!!! My Geodude is UGLY!!!

9.) Nevermind, I GOT MY CUBONE AND MEOWTH!!!

10.) My trainer does some kick-ass jumps over fences on their bike! Now if only you could do the opposite direction and go back up, but no that would be too logical.

11.) The moment where you're getting an item and it seems exciting, but then you see that you have too much stuff in your inventory.

12.) When I finally got my map, I was expecting a beautiful layout that shows all the details and everything. But nope, it's hardly helpful. I just have to know what direction is the next place to go. Like that's really going to help me in big towns. -_-

13.) I just got Pokemon X...

Pokemon's 20th Anniversary Pt. 1

My boyfriend decided to get me a 2DS in order to celebrate Pokemon's 20th anniversary. I was extremely happy that I got a brand new handheld game (especially since the only one I own is a Gameboy Advance). He also got me along with it, Pokemon Blue. After twenty-one years of not playing Pokemon, I finally got into it.

When Pokemon first came out, an old friend and I tried to get into it. She had made up this rule where if you lose a match, you have to give up all of your cards to the winner. I only had one pack and I lsot to here, therefore she got all of my cards. I swore off Pokemon forever because I thought that was an incredibly stupid rule, which years later, I found out was made up. So basically she got my cards because she was selfish.

Anyways, I got my hands on Pokemon Blue and I started getting into it. Where I'm at in the game as I write this blog is that I just got an old rod to start fishing and managed to get me a Magickarp. My boyfriend also wanted me to blog my experience so I wanted to blog as much as I went through for the first few days.

1.) I hate that you can't take Pokemon from trainers. There were some awesome Pokemon that I encountered that I really wanted but because they're in trainers' possession, I couldn't take it. Rude. I always get what I want... unfortunately not in here >:-(

2.) I really enjoy that I can instantly heal all of my Pokemon on me for free.

3.) Talking to people or accepting/declining offers is very sensitive. Sometimes I don't realize that the dialog has ended and I immediately go back into the same dialog I just read.

4.) I don't like the constant encounters. I know that I can easily buy "Repel" which makes sure that getting random encounters occur less, still, I have to spend money on something dumb.

5.) When being challenged by some random person that I bump into, they say some really funny stuff and some really weird stuff.

6.) I like my rival's nickname I gave him. I named him Bewb.

7.) I like giving my Pokemon nicknames too!

8.) Cannot wait to get my Cubone and Meowth, but I really don't want to evolve them.

9.) I don't like that I cannot get a Charmander or an Ivysaur because I want them.

10.) $1,000,000 for a bike? Get out of here. Thankfully I got a bike voucher!

11.) I really wanted to see how far I could get through the game with just one Pokemon. I realized that I cannot be THAT trainer. :-/

12.) After I win a match, there's a little tune that plays that I enjoy singing out aloud.

13.) Magickarp... I want to evolve him, but I don't want to.

14.) The moment when you're told that Misty could give you the CUT ability, but then was lied to and found out that she doesn't give you it. Because I can't ask one kid to move out of the way for me to grab an item that I can't get to... Really? You couldn't move for me kid? I beat you in a Pokemon match, I think you should be able to move for me. But you're not because you're going to be THAT person and let me do more work to get to an item, which is most likely going to be useless to me, that I want to get really badly.

15.) My Spearow is named Jakspearow and I cannot stop laughing at it because it fits.

That's my take of Pokemon Blue so far! Be on the look out for an update!

Updating More

I know that I was slacking a bit with the updates, I really wasn't playing too much except for World of Warcraft and that's about it. Trying to get Twitch to stream my Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm but because I play on a Mac and I can't find helpful links to set up OBS, I'm kinda in a rut.

Expect Farcry Primal stuff in about a week or so.

Cheers love!
