Today starts Blizzard's Overwatch Beta and I am anxiously refreshing my email to see if I got an invitation to be apart of the beta play. I am really excited for this game mainly because it's a first-person shooter and it's completely different from the games that Blizzard has produced in the past. Many claim it's like a Team Fortress clone, but I disagree.
So far there's eighteen characters, but of course they'll always add more in the future. They're either support, tanks, offense, or defense. Each character has a range of different abilities and once special.
There's going to be a range of arenas to play on as well as different modes too.
Basically to make a long story short, it's a team based shooter. That's it. Not too much of it is known at the moment but hopefully, we'll get a lot more information as time comes. Not to mention, Blizzcon is next week and I got a virtual ticket! So we'll see what we're getting with that!
